TAROM is offering me a travel voucher instead of a refund — should I accept it?
Accepting a travel voucher in lieu of a refund is not recommended. This is due to two major factors:
When you accept a travel voucher, you are obligated to fly with the same airline again. Furthermore, the airline will usually set a time limit for redeeming the voucher.
If the airline declares bankruptcy, you may be unable to convert your voucher into a cash refund, resulting in the loss of your money.

Extraordinary circumstances — can TAROM deny me compensation?
