Flight delay compensation: what are your air passenger rights?

According to the European Regulation EU261 on which APRA is constantly working on to improve, your rights as an air passenger are protected in the event of a delayed flight. If your flight leaving from the EU or onboard a European airline got delayed by more than 3 hours upon arrival, you can claim flight compensation up to £520 per passenger. You can find below the details of the claim amount depending on the distance of your flight.

Cancelled flight compensation: here’s how to claim your money back!

The European Regulations are also protecting your rights in the event of a cancelled flight. Cancelled flight compensation can be required if your flight was cancelled less than 14 days before departure, again, if the airline was responsible for the cancellation.

In case of a cancelled flight you can also request a refund if you choose not to travel with the same airline anymore (i.e. cancel your trip or refuse the alternative flight offered by the airline).
