After facing a frustrating flight issue and feeling powerless as a consumer, Tom took it upon himself to advocate for passenger rights. In 2010, he founded Yource, becoming one of the first entrepreneurs in Europe to fight for the enforcement of passenger rights. As CEO, Tom drives the company’s strategic direction, oversees the development of its various platforms, including Flight-Delayed.com, Vlucht-Vertraagd.nl, and Vol-Retardé.fr. In addition, he leads Yource’s legal department, ensuring compliance and providing expert guidance to consumers and businesses alike. Tom is also an active member of APRA (the Association of Passenger Rights Advocates), where he works to promote and protect passengers' legal entitlements across Europe.
